Class: 4 - Lesson: 12.1 Presentation (Slide Transition, Custom Animation (Basic))

Purpose: To learn about OpenOffice Presentation - improving animation effects, formatting text and creating presentations (Fontwork Gallery, slide transition, sound, and custom animation effects such as Entrance and Emphasis).

OpenOffice.

Prior Knowledge

Students should know:

  • The properties or formatting tool.
  • How to insert a picture.
  • Tamil typing.
  • The basics of Impress.

    Exercise 1



    1. Use the Fontwork Gallery. How do you add animation and sound to images and text? How do you add transitions and sound to slides?

    ⟹Apply custom animation to the name and the picture.

    ⟹Apply slide transitions and sounds.

    ⟹Apply slide transition and custom animation speed(low, medium, fast).

    ⟹Create a presentation similar to the output solution file.

    ⟹Use the Fontwork Gallery to change the appearance of the text.

    1. Use the students' presentation from Lesson 12.
    2. Use the terms "Properties", "Master pages", "Custom animation", "Slide transition" and "Fontwork Gallery", etc. while teaching, so that students become familiar with them.
    3. Teachers should ask students to set the custom animation speed to Slow, Medium and Fast, and to observe the difference.
